Applications for the CoLab PhD scholarship are now open –
This is a three year scholarship for a full-time PHD student undertaking research within the Faculty of Design & Creative Technologies. The CoLab PHD scholarship is intended to promote research that involves the development, application or critical engagement with new technologies. The scholarship encourages research through the application of creativity and foregrounds the development of new applications and opportunities across the creative and technology sectors, in keeping with CoLab’s cross disciplinary engagement with the arts and science. The research process may be theoretical, applied or practice-based, though the research proposal must clearly articulate a hypothesis or research question(s).

• Due by 25 September 2009
• NZ$25,000 a year for 3 years (exempt from tax) subject to successful annual progress reveiw
• The scholarship does not include the Student’s Association fee
• The scholarship does not cover tuition fees. Please contact the Scholarship Office or HOS about information on further scholarships to cover fees.
