In a recent SKYPE link with DIANA ENG as part of the DIGITAL STRATEGIES - Innovations through Apparel and Textile Technologies Symposium held at Auckland University of Technology in Auckland, April 14-15, 2010, Diana gave a presentation entitled 'FASHION AND TECHNOLOGY'. Talking about Fashions history in innovation Dianas presentation covered areas of Fashion and Technology to do with Technical Performance (Apparel, Sports, Medical and Military), Commercial (textile and technique) and Fashion (Celebrities, Designers and Designs).

Striving to integrate fashion and technology, Diana hopes to make the fashion-minded more interested in the research process and the scientifically-minded more interested in fashion as a form of self-expression.

The video shown is the result of an interactive web video programme she ran called Fairy Tale fashion, showing ways of incorporating science and technology into fashion and using viewer feedback to create designs for a fashion show at the end.
