ISEA2010 RUHR, the 16th International Symposium on Electronic Art

ISEA2010 RUHR, the 16th International Symposium
on Electronic Art, will take place in the cities
of the German Ruhr area from 20 - 29 August 2010.

We post this monthly newsletter to keep you
updated about the preparations, and to inform you
about the rich cultural life of the region.
Therefore, this month's newsletter has an
extended list of 'recommended events' happening
in and around the Ruhr region in the coming weeks.

Call for Proposals: June 2009
Submission period: 15 June - 15 September 2009


PRELIMINARY PROGRAMME STRUCTURE:

20 - 22 August, ISEA2010 Performance programme, Essen
23 - 27 August, ISEA2010 main Conference programme, Dortmund
28 - 29 August, ISEA2010 Art in Public Space programme, Duisburg

The exhibitions are likely to start earlier in
August, and continue until the beginning of
September.


The main Dortmund site for ISEA2010 RUHR will be
the new Centre for Art and Creativity in the
landmark building of the 'U-Tower' which is
currently under reconstruction. You can find some
good recent images on flickr by searching for
'dortmund U'.

context of Ruhr.2010 - European Capital of
Culture. ISEA 2010 RUHR is organised under the
auspices of the ISEA Foundation and is funded by
Ruhr.2010 - Cultural Capital of Europe, the State
Chancellory of North Rhine Westphalia, and the
City of Dortmund.
